As the new HR & Recruitment Team Lead at the Patrick Group of Companies, Irene brings over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and a well-rounded, people-focused approach to the role.
A Career Built Across Industries and Borders
With a background in Psychology and Developmental Services, Irene progressed in her career to work with multinational organizations across the U.S., Mexico, and Colombia, gaining exposure to diverse industries, from textile manufacturing to the industrial sectors she works in today at the Patrick Group, including mechanical services, fabrication, and industrial operations. Throughout that journey, she has held roles ranging from Recruitment Specialist to HR Business Partner, building strong expertise in:

Where It All Started
Irene’s path into HR didn’t begin in a traditional way.
She started her career in customer service, where she discovered a genuine interest in working with people. That early experience led her into an HR assistant role, where her curiosity and passion for supporting others quickly turned into a clear career path.
From there, she continued developing her expertise within industrial and organizational psychology, always maintaining a strong focus on people.
A New Chapter in Canada
Four years ago, she made the decision to move to Canada in search of new opportunities for her and her family. Since then, Sudbury has become home, opening doors for both personal and professional growth, and allowing her to continue building her career in a new environment.
Growing Within the Patrick Group
Irene joined the Patrick Group of Companies last year as a recruiter, and through her dedication and strong understanding of people and operations, she has recently stepped into the role of HR & Recruitment Team Lead.
