About the Role

Patrick Mechanical Limited is currently seeking a Licensed Millwright with commercial and industrial experience to join our team.

In this role, you will support the installation, maintenance, alignment, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment while working alongside experienced tradespeople across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans.
• Plan and perform lifts using appropriate rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective components.
• Perform precision alignment using dial indicators, laser alignment equipment, micrometers, precision levels, and other specialized tools.
• Use vibration analysis and other predictive and preventive maintenance techniques as required.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Coordinate work with other departments and trades.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Valid Millwright Trade Certificate / Licensed Millwright
• Commercial and/or industrial millwright experience.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
